Hi ChiChi!

Let me clarify that I wasn't encouraging Kathy Fitzgerald (or Peter Marinos, Jim Borstelmann and any of the other long-time Producers cast members) to leave. Just pointing out that staying in a show for years and years is not unheard of.

The actor who played Lord Savage/Spider in Jekyll & Hyde, for example, played the role since the show's formative years, and he's still playing it on tour.

ETA: Martin van Treuren is his name. I had to look it up.

Oh, I suppose you people are right.

I think I'm still bitter from when I saw Adam in Aida May 2003 and he TOTALLY phoned it in :0) BLAST YOU ADAM!

Well I would never agree with just phoning it in. There are too many actors who would like to have the opportunity to work and the audience has usually paid WAY too much to have to watch someone phone it in. That's one thing that P*SSED me off when I saw "Buddy Holly" on Broadway years ago. Most of the cast looked like they didn't want to be up there and I would have LOVED to have taken their place.
