That's what I suspected. I love how some people here try to create rumours and then wish them into fact.

Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!

I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com

yay! NPH is a great choice. i think if the Tonys want to attract viewers who usually don't watch the show they should focus on advertising the big name hollywood actors that are nominated this year and other things people don't know about Broadway recently(GOC cast, Elton John, Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, Allison Janney, Susan Sarandon, Geoffrey Rush, Shrek)

I think that's a pretty ridiculous statement. VERY few people get the kind of response she does from the public - and across a greater demographic diversity than almost anyone else I can think of.

I'm trying to refrain from dancing around my office and screaming. This is the best news I could've read about the Tonys.

I LOVE NPH and he's gonna do a great job. Bring it!!!

I would love to get a ticket to this now. I guess tickets are already sold out?

I'm very happy NPH is hosting. I love How I Met Your Mother. I think he'll do a fine job.

I was going to watch the Tonys anyway. I would have been disappointed if Dolly would have been the host. I don't think it would be appropriate, either, considering her involvement with 9 to 5.

I think that Neil should start rambling on about nothing and than from back stage the person who plays Marshall (On How I met your mother) should come on slap him and say "That was FouR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
