I'm sorry, maybe I am a tad confused...does CBS want the TONYS to bomb so they have to go to PBS? I'm just curious. I personally was holding out for Dolly but looks like that isnt going to happen. Hopefully this doesn't shut down "9 to 5".

This is PERFECT. I was literally just saying last week how NPH should host - with his theater background and recent HIMYM fame, I think it's really really perfect.

Are you being facetious or do you really believe this? I highly doubt Dolly Parton or NPH would draw a significantly different number of viewers.

Wow, the Tony Awards are now going to pretty much ooze awesomeness. But really, this news kind of made my day. I've always loved me some NPH (whether he's on stage, tripping balls, killing space bugs, or just being Good Ol' Swarley) but I think he will make a magnificent Tony host.
