Posted: 2/19/09 at 6:11pmLOL A few months ago, wasn't "Dirty Dancing" rumored to be wanting the Neil Simon?

Posted: 2/19/09 at 6:12pmA BWW "swing" who joined a week beforehand starting a thread "I heard Dirty DAncing is coming to the Niel Simon is it true?" isn't a "rumor".

Can't wait for Corine's Corner!
Corine's Corner needs its own thread. Should I make one?

Posted: 2/19/09 at 6:18pmI believe dirty dancing is in August. Something will be going in for a limited time. I heard it was booked and now someone just mentioned they thought it was desire under the elms.

Posted: 2/19/09 at 6:18pmNo point. It'll get deleted. This one will, too, just 'cause we mentioned it.

Dirty Dancing is coming in the fall and will be at the Neil Simon. Whoever joined last week and said that was correct.
Rumor had it Robin Williams was going in there for a limited engagement but I'm not sure if that's happening or not.

I'm not sure how to respond to that.
Somehow, I don't think "F////////////////////////////////////K!!!!!!!!!" is enough.
(of course, it might not be true. Please God, don't let it be true.)

Dirty Dancing is going in

and
I am hoping for a TITLE OF SHOW revival
re: Neil Simon is Booked#19
Posted: 2/19/09 at 9:30pmI'm guessing 9, considering his/her completely boneheaded Tony predictions (Natalie Toro for Featured! 13 for Score! West Side Story for Book and Score! (???????))

What he said. Dirty Dancing booked the theater shortly before Hairspray closed.

The real Rumor is that Starmites is being revived in the St. James.
