Now she seems to say that she did it because she didn't want people to stereotype her as a "jewish performer", so she did her damndest to come up with exotic answers that tried to break people's views of her.

I'm sorry your humor doesn't match up with Nellie's.

I love that she keeps a straight face through it.

Now that she's on Broadway I can say she is the person I'd wanna have dinner with (that other thread).

I apologize for posting a thread that turned into yet another series of insults and putdowns. :) Just for the record, I meant my post with a twinge of the same kind of humor Nellie herself showed in the video. I never meant to imply that she was actually crazy or insane....just thought her clips from the interview were very funny and from way out in left field and that everyone should check it out. Just covering my ass.

CJ - Aren't we all a bit crazy? At least she hasn't conformed to this certain style.

It's sort of what Cyndi has been saying - kids threw stones at her because of how she dressed. Now people want to dress like her.

Anyway, it's more what EverythingisRENT said than what you said. To me, at least.

BsB- Yes....'everyone's a little bit crazy'. Especially people who pay the government most of their money to have themselves killed, right Doctor Controller Mayor Schubb???!!! (Five thousand Broadway Bonus Bucks to myself for working in both an Avenue Q quote rip-off and an obscure, obscure 'Anyone Can Whistle' reference in less than 50 words....)
