I also got a ticket for 11/17, although the evening show.   Similarly went with stage seating, overpriced, but such a unique situation that i couldn't pass it up.

I briefly considered it, but that price is ridiculous

for the front table seats to me it seems just barely worth it.   It's crazy that they are charging the same for the bar seats though.   In the london production the bar seats were less

So what is the deal with the food? Do you actually eat during the play? Or is it before the curtain? I really wouldn't want to try to eat during the play and I wouldn't want to watch people onstage eating either.

Just remembering you've had an "and" When you're back to "or" Makes the "or" mean more than it did before

I'm assuming that there will be no meal service, since the stage seating hasn't been advertised or promoted as such.

EDIT: I stand corrected.

Van Hove's concept from the London production was that the audience would be eating multiple courses throughout the action of the play (because we consume news at all times, even when eating...or at least I THINK I remember reading that's what he was going for??) So I would be surprised if there wasn't some sort of food component.

My understanding is that food will be served, yes.

The menu has not been released yet, but the Telecharge rep said there is food being served on stage. This review shows how the stage was set up at the National, and Jay Rayner discusses the food... as best he can. In all honesty, I don't really care about the food, it's the experience.
