Yeah, I stood in the standing room area for a performance of the roommate when I felt uncomfortable in my rush seat. They were not selling the standing area, they dont sell it unless the show is fully selling out. And with proof's pricing, they are nowhere near that point. If the producers were smart they would discount some of the previews like John Proctor, it needs buzz if they are wanting to sell $349 seats

there was another large release after the original onsale. I honestly didnt like the seats offered in the first on-sale for seagull and waited till the second release.

I called them for OM three times, they always didnt have any ticket inventory when I called. Paid way to much to go and found it the most overrated play in a long time.

It is indeed a great set. Everything that works in the film does not work in this play. Im surprised by every rave i read. The political points to modern day are so pedestrian and obvious. And since he is giving speeches, he's literally preaching to the choir. This was the worst show I saw in NY this season

I really wanted to like this, but agree with the mixed word. Its kind of lifeless, despite a great cast. The theatre is also gigantic. I was an aisle seat on row G and even there i felt really far from the stage. I can't imagine the rest behind me not feeling the same and that's like 75% of the room. Im glad I snagged a $299 ticket, if I had spent more id be more annoyed.
