Not all of us have so much disposable income they can see every show on Broadway. My wife and I are both retired (my wife forcibly after being let go due to her age - at the time 61). We have to pick and choose what we see . Some people cannot think of not going 2 minutes without seeing a show. Even when we were both working, we were never that bad. We see what we can see. We see more than we thought we would but no we do not see everything and like some 20 or 30 times.
We see what we can & what interests us. We will not go out in a blizzard just to see a show. If that does it for you fine. We are content with what we do. Maybe when others on this board get to be older they will understand.

Roxy, I'm in the exact same situation as you and your wife are. I"m retired and on a fixed income. I have no problem with your being concerned about the price of tickets. You mention it a lot, that's all.
p.s. There's a LOT that many on this board don't understand because of their young age and I suspect they'll find out long after I'm not here, lol

Yup
They will find out the hard way when they get older. I will try not to mention it as much although the usual cast of characters will still bash me but I ignore them.
