Back on topic, when i was in College one of my professors speculated that so many theaters are haunted because so many theatre types are ostracised for so many reasons that their spirits seek to stay in the one place they felt "at home"-- the stage.

Personally I think so many theatres are haunted because actors are all high strung hysterical types and are predisposed to see things.

theatres are haunted because god hates theatres and condemns those who perform in them, attend them, build them or are can be in anyway associated with them to forever skulk around in them only occasionally being seen and then only by those predisposed to be disbelieved.

nope, over christmas, i was lucky enough to use coach tressell's personal free hotline to god to get the straight poop on this one. but god will start hating congress beginning in january.

i have yet to set foot in a theatre that did not lay claim to having its own ghost.

I believe The New Amsterdam is where Rath murdered her ex-lover. Now every night just before the curtain goes up, you can hear strains of Julie Andrews singing "And I am Telling You..."
