No, there are not plans for an Urinetown II.
It says she was the lead role in the workshop. That doesn't mean she will be the role on Bway.

I saw All Shook Up preview in CT and it was great. I'm looking forward to seeing what changes are made before Broadway.

Defiantly, I am looking forward to Wicked II: Madame Morrible's Revenge. I hear it's much darker, much bloodier than Part I. As the middle part of trilogies often are, since Star Wars invented the trilogy.
What about DRACULA???
wow. thank you, lyffe! you have managed to make me shocked....really...you misspelled the word "the."
for shame.

I am interested to see how Legally Blonde will turn out. I am not sure how I feel about it yet, but it could be interesting.

BROOKLYN!!!
Actually, there ARE plans for a Urinetown prequel and sequel. The prequel is almost completely written, from what I've heard.
Really, a prequel AND a sequel?! Are you pulling my leg?
I'm most excited about The Vampire Lestat and Jerry Springer: The Opera.
I swear! Who knew it was a trilogy? Although the authors Greg Kotis and Mark Hollmann have a number of projects separately and together (Greg has a new play, Pig Farm, which I think has a production in Cleveland this fall, and both writers are at work together on a musical version of the 1951 Alec Guiness movie, The Man in the White Suit), they have made mention of these other two shows in the works.
