What will the 2-Disc Annie entail?
The first disc is a full recording of the show, including dance and incidental music. The second disc is songs cut from Annie 2, and songs written for things like the Annie Christmas special, etc., featuring Kathy Lee Gifford, Carol Burnett and others...
If it ever gets released. It's been announced for release three times.
The best part is all the songs from Annie 2 that did not make it to Annie Warbucks plus songs written for other productions & the stardard score.
I will believe this when I see it. The same holds true for Illya
That's also not a full list of releases. That's just the latest "update"
For example, Kerry Butler's solo CD is out 5/13 - and I believe PS Classics has some other releases during April/May

Aha. Isn't there too much music in the show to fit on 1 disc?
Do you guys have the Artwork for Kerry Butler CD?

We do, Craig!
Maureen McGovern's "A Long & Winding Road" (April 15)
Capathia Jenkins "One Ounce of Truth" (May 13)
Kerry Butler "Faith, Trust & Pixie Dust" (May 13)
"A Catered Affair" (May 13 web release, May 27 in stores)
"The Adding Machine" (June 3 in stores)
All of these cds will have web releases about two weeks prior.
The Annie 2 songs are the ones that were in the failed Washington production and that were not ultimately worked into Annie Warbucks. They include "Lady of the House," "1934," "Coney Island," "My Daddy," "How Could I Ever Say No?" "He Doesn't Know I'm Alive," "All I've Got Is Me," "Tomorrow Is Now," and "I Guess Things Happen for the Best". The additional songs are "Don't Mess With Mother," from the 20th Anniversary/Nell Carter production, "Why Should I Change a Thing?" from the 30th Anniversary production and "It's Christmas" from NBC's "Annie Christmas Show".
We do have artwork for Kerry's CD - and I think we might get a sneak peek at it in a day or two.. stay tuned

Oh, I didn't know Adding Machine was getting recorded! I can't wait!
What site is this list from? I didn't see it updated on here or playbill.com.

Roxy says it at the top of his original post. It's from Talking Broadway. They run an update of new and upcoming releases every Tuesday.

Some of those PS Classics releases have their artwork up on www.talkinbroadway.com in the upcoming release section.
Sherie Rene Scott mentioned in an interview that Sh-K-Boom is doing Passing Strange.
And don't forget Little Fish (on Sh-k-boom) is due out this spring/summer too.
I wonder who's going to snatch up "Glory Days"?
I wonder as to WHY there's no talk of recording CRY-BABY?

I think it was on Talkin' Broadway.
BWW/Playbill don't update well.

Well not every show announces a CD recording while in previews. Could be for many reasons. Maybe they're changing songs or lyrics, or whatever. Could be a million reasons.
Look at Xanadu - they didn't have a cast recording for 6 months...
thanks guys. I'm blind sometimes :-P!
Whatever happened to the Little Fish recording, with Alice Ripley?
There are some really great dvds on that list too.

I would imagine Ghostlight would snatch up "Glory Days" - it seems like the type of show they like to record/produce
What about Gypsy? It needs to be recorded and better be announced this week I'm getting restless.
