I'll def. be picking up Gypsy as well, but I can't see myself liking South Pacific. The only song I like is "Younger Than Springtime," but I think the South Pacific: In Concert recording as the best version of it.

*sigh* oh how Next to Normal needs to be included in this list.

sorry, I'm still going through major withdrawls, if you can't tell. haha

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

The "GYPSY" recording will be announced next week. It's defintie. Time Life is the label.
Recording dates are either 4/28-29 or 5/5-5/6 It' will be the most complete, plus 6 cut songs from the Original Broadway Production.

if this was true wouldn't it have been announced already?
It seems like it keeps getting pushed back, is the recording still definitely happening?

Incase anyone was wondering, it looks like DRG has delayed Ilya Darling indefinately AGAIN.

Happy Hunting, by the Merm, is still slated to be released by DRG on 4/29 though.

not to be a nag, but does anyone know what is actually going on with the gypsy recording? It seems that it is being pushed back, again and again!

It will definitely be recorded on May 5th and 6th by Time Life.. An announcement will finally be made this week.
