Posted: 7/31/08 at 4:30pmThis is still not exactly correct. The Entr'acte and Exit Music are only available on the Barnes & Noble exclusive bonus disc. The regular disc includes "Toreadorables," and the other version of Baby June's "Mother's Day" number. "Toreadorables" and "Mother's Day" were both moved from the Barnes & Noble disc to the main disc.

Have an Eggroll, Mr. Goldstone
Little Lamb
You'll Never Get Away From Me

You Gotta Get a Gimmick
The Strip
Rose's Turn
Tomorrow's Mother's Day
Mother's Day
Small World/Momma's Talkin' Soft

The Barnes & Noble bonus disc contains:

Posted: 7/31/08 at 4:56pmIt's important to note that anyone who wants the Act 2 Final Dialogue needs to buy the B&N disc. The amazon discs list the track, but it won't be on the main disc.

Posted: 7/31/08 at 5:00pmPS. Does anyone else think it's stupid they didn't record Rose's SMALL WORLD Reprise? Though it IS cut from this production, it would have make sense to record it as a bons track.
#9re: New GYPSY Recording Track List
Posted: 7/31/08 at 5:07pmI debated about that but it really is just a phrase or two. Having Patti's versions of "Smile, Girls," "Who Needs Him," and the "Small World/Momma's Talking Soft" quartet more than make up for not having the "Small World" reprise.

Agreed, Smaxie.
Again, people will still be unhappy...but honestly meh.
#11re: New GYPSY Recording Track List
Posted: 7/31/08 at 5:31pmWho says I'm unhappy? This production works BRILLIANTLY without the reprise. The reprise slows down the whole moment, and it's a frantic moment. I just think it would have been nice to be totally complete, and record it. But after hearing some of the bonus tracks, I can't wait to own this recording!

Posted: 7/31/08 at 6:46pmWorth mentioning too that in addition to the never fully recorded "Seattle to LA" reprise of "Some People" (one of the most brilliantly orchestrated pieces in the show), the new recording also has the longest version of the "Broadway" portion of "Dainty June and Her Farmboys". The five tracks from the initial sampler were also reedited and remixed.

Posted: 7/31/08 at 6:48pmDo you know if they added dialogue onto the beginning of EVERYTHING'S COMING UP ROSES and ROSE'S TURN for the final disc?

As memory serves, no they didn't.
Frankly, I'm glad. I don't get a cast album to hear dialogue, I get it to hear songs.
#23re: New GYPSY Recording Track List
Posted: 7/31/08 at 7:02pmYeah, but the ROSE'S TURN intro monologue is brilliant.
#24re: New GYPSY Recording Track List
Posted: 7/31/08 at 8:23pmso if I order it on barnesandnoble.com will I still get the bonus disc?
