parislover -- I thought Paolo Montalban was delightful as the Prince in that version of Cinderella. Also, very cute.

Nero "is not a rock musical," Sater explained. The piece will be backed by percussion, harp, violin and keyboard.

I'm really looking forward to the music.

From what I've read this is a piece charged with political scathe.

A country's leader finding photo ops among the poor-turned-homeless post natural disaster?

A city laid waste from a tower fallen. A community running from ash....

Um... sound familiar??

It's definitely piqued my curiosity...

Roman musicals--FUNNY THING excepted--generally don't work on stage. And why would someone want to make a musical about Nero anyway?

No one has mentioned the fact the Jeffrey Carlson, the most incredible actor ever!!!, is starring as Nero. It will be fantastic just because he's in it. Can't wait to see this on Broadway!
