New Pocahontas Musical!

Here is a website that has a trailer for a new version of Pocahontas. It looks like it was staged like the Cats movie where it was during a mock performance. Pretty cool! The belter is great!

Interesting. As much as I love the Disney movie (and well, most Disney movies before the late 1990's), after seeing (well, not actually seeing, I didn't see them) how "The Little Mermaid" and "Tarzan" failed, I believe that Disney belongs in the movies, and not on Broadway.

I don't think it's Disney. I think it's a new version of the story. More pop styled by the sound of the preview.

I'll see it anyway. The girl's voice is great and the quick clips of choreography look cool.

I should probably mention that I've seen some pretty fantastic youth theatre productions. CYT has just never fallen into that category.

Didn't you train at Lambs Players? The guy who wrote the music is one of their music directors and performers.
