Anyone think Leighton Meester could take it? Gorgeous and has a beautiful voice. It's not necessarily a musical voice, but give her a few months of training and she could do it well.

I don't get that review, especially this part:
"Still, there’s a thematic emptiness at the heart of “Side Show.” Daisy and Violet are portrayed as worthwhile individuals no different from anyone"
I think they are saying that, since they are portrayed by beautiful girls simply standing side by side, they are already like everyone else except with a stronger gravitational pull to one another. I'm sure the original faced the same problem since neither is actually version i

Newsies is touring soon and will translate to tour better than Matilda will. I think a lot of the magic of Matilda will get lost with the set cutbacks.

I think Eponine should be played by a male. It makes sense why Marius never realizes the affection from his best friend and also why ValJean calls him "boy".

According to the cast list announced, Taylor will be in Matilda. It's not going up for a while and maybe Bare will be closed by then, but if not, that means there will be an opening. Any dream Peters?

Hey! I'm putting together a little show with 3 guys and 4 girls and I'm looking for fun songs to do that are not as well known. Things like All girl Band from A...My Name is Alice and The Hawaii song. I'm looking for solos, duets, but mostly ensemble numbers.

Didn't you train at Lambs Players? The guy who wrote the music is one of their music directors and performers.
