Craig Schulman has done the role more times than anyone else. He deserves a shot a re-doing again.

I would love to see Craig Schulman in the role. I have never seen his Valjean, but I did see his Phantom.

I was going to say Michael Ball because I adore him, but after seeing Randal Ketih, I'm really hoping he gets go to back. He was truely amazing.
I'm sure whoever they cast will be wonderful.

Randal Keith is a good possibility. Maybe the guy doing it in London, who all say is GREAT. Maybe Ivan Rutherford as alternate again.
The word is: Valjean IS cast. They will wait a while to announce anything. But out there, the man who will play the role (and his family)are probably BURSTING to tell people. Patience

I'm praying it is J. Mark McVey. If its Randall Keith - well, I won't be seeing the show - - I saw him and he put me to sleep. (sorry to all those who love him - BUT - that was my experience - and after seeing McVey - well, RK was a big let down......)
And how do you know Valjean has been cast?

Personally, I think they know who they want. They are just not letting anyone know at this time.

Considerations for Valjean are still being seen. That much I am sure of. The only one confirmed/contracted is Norm Lewis playing Javert.
