New Poll: What New Year's Resolution Should Broadway Make for 2012?

thank you for a very interesting poll. Now for my own wishes, theatre owners will prohibit any drinks, other than water to the seats.Theatre owners will tell all concession companies to get rid of the vendors in the aisles. These are theatres, not stadiums or nightclubs. Theatre owners will make sure that patrons know that coatrooms are for coats only, not your scooters, not the knock off purses you got in Chinatown, or the garbage you just had to buy before coming to the theatre.
And theatre owners will finally take charge, grow a pair, and allow house managers to eject any unruly or disruptive patrons from the theatres. For too long the inmates have been running the asylum.

Happy New Year all, and to all who have supported our show at the Marquis, thank you so much. Come see us on the West Coast!

What spike3 said!!!!
"The sexual energy between the mother and son really concerns me!"-random woman behind me at Next to Normal "I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello

That's easy: No in-seat eating/drinking permitted/promoted/tolerated. Absurd, utterly disrespectful development. Everything else I can deal with (although not always nicely).

"Tracy... Hold Mama's waffles."

I was going to say what spike did. The only other thing I would add is a ban on cell phones and texting during the show. They could block cell phones in the theatre or so I have been told.
"I hope your Fanny is bigger than my Peter." Mary Martin to Ezio Pinza opening night of Fanny.

"or the garbage you just had to buy before coming to the theatre."

Yeah, you know what - visitors should just STOP spending money in NYC altogether. Forget boosting the economy, upsetting a chorus boy at The Marquis just isn't worth it. And don't y'all forget to avoid the restaurants too - bring your own sandwiches, since New York food is all garbage.
