Hi all! Did a search for this; nothing popped up. Has anyone tried past dating a ticket at New World Stages? I have an extra ticket from when I saw Heathers in April I was not able to use, and was going to try and use it on Sunday. They told me the day I saw the show the first time that they did past dating, and gave me a slip with some info put I lost it. The show is nowhere near sold out according to Telecharge.
Also, I want to be able to buy another ticket separate from the past-dated one. Would they let me do that and have the seats be together? If the seats aren't together, it’s not a big deal, but I'd prefer that.
When I worked there, the routine was a common one-you call on the day you want to see the show, and if they can accommodate you, they will. As far as asking for the seat next to yours, I guess the same would apply-if they can do it, they will.
Thanks for the info, Jane. Are there seats set aside for this purpose? Or is it whatever is left? More, less or equal to the value of the old ticket? Sorry to bump this and bumbard all with more questions, but I'm going to try to do this tomorrow for the matinee. Which brings me to my next question: is it done for all shows? Or just certain days, or just evenings or matinees?
It is what they have available.

It may be a given, but just for the record, if your tix are comps, they will not allow past-dating.
