Can we start a new rule on this Message Board?
Don't say a show is good or bad or give your opinion about the actual show or something in it if you haven't seen it.
Obviously, oh I'm excited, that looks good, or man, I hated the movie it was based after would be ok. But, I think you guys should understand what I mean. Anyone else for this???

And respect other people's opinions. If you didnt like it, don't bash another person who liked the show.

For better or for worse, message boards practically EXIST for those very reasons -- so people can be rude, nasty, and insulting anonymously.

I think of all the new rules needed thats the least of our worries. How bout not creating more than one thread in a day about the same show
Also, a rule against praising terrible terrible shows like The Wedding Singer.

Posted: 12/18/06 at 8:15pmI totally agree. I used to bash The Light in the Piazza and Avenue Q nonstop before even seeing them. Now The Light in the Piazza is one of my favorite shows and I have tickets to Avenue Q in February.

Haha... I know it obviously couldn't be enforced; however, I think most people don't care about people's opinions about shows they haven't seen.
Can someone who has bashed a show before seeing it give a good reason why they did so? Anyone?

I agree with the first thing about not bashing shows if we haven't seen them, but the WEDDING SINGER bit? That was uncalled for. We all personally have our own love thread for the show where all of us fans post, and we don't bother you guys about it! And we don't start a million threads about the same show (ala HIGH FIDELITY or SPRING AWAKENING)-if you guys are tired of the praise for WEDDING SINGER, don't read the thread!
Sorry, just wanted to stand up for us TWS fans...
