Will the 9 to 5 tour extend?

The Les Miz tour is extending, 5th Avenue in Seattle is getting it in September.
I'd assume the 9 to 5 tour will continue but turn non-equity.

Mildred, where did you see Les Mis being extended? If it is, their own website doesn't have it up yet. I see they extended into September to the Jefferson in Alabama, but nothing about Seattle listed.

9 to 5 needs to tour in the New England area. I think In The Heights will become non-equity. They told me on Facebook that they had unannounced dates after their stop in Miami, but Jose-Luis Lopez (G. Pete) said that it stops in Miami.

Well, they just announced that American Idiot will be touring in the fall. No other info has been announced though.

I expect to see Memphis (tour starting in Memphis, TN) announce soon, if they haven't already.

Oldschool, I'm a subscriber at the 5th and it was in my renewal mailer as a teaser to subscribe. They're apparently announcing their full season tomorrow.

From what I've heard, 9 to 5 is booked until sometime in October.

I'm a subscriber, too, Mildred and haven't received any mailer yet. How long ago did you receive it?

Erm, maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago threetwoone? It didn't have the full season, just Les Miz announced. I'll assume they'll be doing another, it only had option to subscribe to full season.
Also their postcard for the season announcement event tomorrow night had the cast of Les Miz on it.

Thanks! hmm I'll wait and see if I get the next one.
Excited for the season announcement tomorrow though? Aside from Les Mis and Oklahoma! I heard that RENT is a possibility. Meh.

I've heard RENT too. The tour was just here. Seems a tad unnecessary.
They're so up and down with their choices. I hope they do a Sondheim since they have the local rights to all his shows and nobody else is allowed to do em until 5th does.

The Addams Family is going on tour. I believe MDQ is too. Rock of Ages, I assume, will still be going.

It's believed that the A Chorus Line tour will end in Newark on May 1.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Our local theatre books some very, how shall I put it, "non-exciting" tours and I really hope In the Heights extends and goes non-equity, or South Pacific. The theatre only books weekend-only engagements. This year's line up was: "Beauty and the Beast" (bleh), "A Chorus Line" (I liked it), "Fiddler on the Roof" (who? what?), "Spamalot" (boring), and "Burn the Floor" (Sure). I pray "Grease" DOES NOT stop by. But what can we expect for a conservative, valley city who doesn't know the unconventional music of Jonathan Larson or Sheik/Sater? (Any idea if "Spring Awakening" will extend?)
Sorry for the rant.

It's disappointing that it took so long!

Is it at all inappropriate or frowned upon to contact the theatre mentioning shows I, as a patron, would like to see?

It is neither.
