peter hermann is SO pretty.
Sorry about the mis-spelling. I thought to google it but took a chance. Will change it.

The "preview" episode was pretty bad, but I really enjoyed the first episode. And according to people who have read it in advance, the scripts get better and better. Lucy Lui seems to be the weak link in the show. Not the actress, but the writing of her character (sorry I forget her name). However, the other actresses storylines keep be interested from commerical break to commercial break. I think the problem with the success of this show though is going to be the fact that it wasn't really promoted very well for what it is. I'm sure it has something to do with the writters strike, but I don't think that it is going to pick up the audience that it could have.
Really? I actually really enjoy Lucy Liu's career-driven woman. To me, it works pretty well. It's Miranda Otto the one I'm having quibbles with. Loved her in the first episode but in the second episode I felt they were trying to turn her into some kind of Bree VanDeeCamp from DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES (red-head an all). Why couldn't they make it so she is the one having an affair? How interesting would it be if she were sleeping with more successful men than her husband because he isn't challenging enough? Or if they each had their arrangements about having sex with other people and only staying together for power reasons? The whole sacrificed wife "I let him cheat on me because I work too much but the second he cheats with someone my friends know it's wrong" deal is not working for me. Otto is fabulous, now give her good material to work with.
Frances O'Connor improved so much from the pilot episode and I reiterate I may be gay but I am crushed on Bonnie Summerville.
shameless bump reminder for tonight's guest cast...
Mary Testa, Jenn Colella, Ilana Levine, Jodi Long, Randall Duk Kim, John Cunningham, and Noah Weisberg, with Tom Everett Scott (1/23/07).
:)
I've watched every episode so far (I'm watching right now), mostly because I like the actors (the regulars and the guests), but I'm about to give up soon. I'm not impressed with it at all.

Yeah, I don't really love it. It's sort of a guilty pleasure, I watch it if I have time kind of thing. I watched the first few minute of this past week's just to see Christine Ebersole.
Who did Noah play?
Peter Hermann is GOREGOUS :heart skips a beat:
Noah was the 'gamemaster,' the leader of the game of laser tag at a kid's birthday party. He's onscreen for maybe two minutes total towards the end of the show.
Tonight was my first exposure to Cashmere Mafia, and wow- not a fan.
It just keeps getting worse. If there wasn't a strike, I'm thinking this show would have already gotten the ax. I'm hoping Lipstick Jungle is not this unwatchable.
