I have only seen a video of the full London production online. Do you think what they do live is different than the video?

In no way the same. Cole's work is superior and loses the "spinning on newspapers" bit. Choreographic storytelling is more finely honed like Ortega's original.

I tend to disagree. The choreography of the west-end version is much more showy and over the top. A lot felt so pointless and just added for effect. (the cable car, hanging from the lamps, etc.)
And yes it felt very 'inspired by'
