Newsies stagedoor | evening show vs. matinee

I generally refrain from making these kinds of posts anywhere, but since I'm trying to plan this trip as quickly as possible, I was wondering which would be my best bet as far as the stagedoor goes. I'm considering seeing it either at 8pm on 8/4, or the 3pm show on 8/5.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I can't speak for Newsies, but you always will have better luck with stage door after an evening show. There are often actors that don't sd for the matinee since they have a second show to do.

After the matinee this past Saturday, all cast members came out and signed.

Most shows, it is true that more people tend to come out after an evening show but Newsies is the exception. I was saw the 3rd preview and every single cast member came out and signed after this show which was a matinee. They were more than happy to pose for pictures with all the craziness and were nothing short of a pleasure to meet.
