One of the times I was doing it and won it was a Thursday night. I was asking how crowded it usually gets and the person running it said it is like a cycle. She said that it starts off quite at the beginning of the week usually around the Sunday evening performance and picks up towards the end as it gets closer to the weekend. So, I think that if you were going to see a Tuesday performance, it might not be as crowded as let's say the lotto for the Saturday evening performance.
