What time do people start typically showing up on a Sunday morning for the N2N rush?

Lol. Well in reality, I would say 8:00 is the latest you want to get on the line.

Thats crazy. I was planning on going next Sunday to rush but someone said in another post that I should get there around 5:30. As much as I love the show and is dying to see it again in the front row I can't do that early re: Next to Normal Rush Line The earliest I can get there is a little before 8 so its probably not even worth it to take the train in. Do you have to get there that early during the week too?

Can I also ask... where does it start? At what door and what direction do people typically sit in? Down shubert alley or down 45th st?

I remember the good old days back when it was previewing, and if you got there by 9 you were golden.

It's just easier to start it in Shubert Alley going back towards 44th from the box office door (in the alley) as the wristband guy or another security guy will move you eventually anyway.

Haha, amen. I rushed the Saturday after opening. Got there at 9am and got a dead center front row seat. There were a couple crazies there who got there before 5am and got a box seat (they were for the evening, I was for the matinee). Guess I won't be rushing this show any time during the summer if that means I have to get there that early.

^ Explaining how that happened (so people don't freak and be all "I thought front row was first!" and because I know one of the people involved...) He had asked me about when to line up. I TOLD him he was too early but he decided to go that early anyway. It did not occur to me to tell him where to line up ~ I figured people would KNOW that the line would start at the box office doors and NOT the theatre exit doors with the faces on them. Other people came from another direction around 6:30 and "started" the line at the box office. When the group at the face doors realized it, rather than fight (and really, he had taken a picture, so he could have proven the time he got there) they just got in the back of the line at that point.

edited to change "ut" to "but".

Oh yeah, jordangirl, I know what you're talking about. Then they got on the right line (in Shubert Alley) way before I got there. They were still in the front of the line, I was about 20 people back. It's not like they realized it too late and had to get behind me and the other people who showed up at 9am. That would've sucked. I just got a better seat because I was going to the matinee and most of the people in front of me were going to the evening. Probably made that more confusing, but yes, they do give front row first.
