I'm having problems getting my order to go through as well
Argh.
I'll try again later. Or tomorrow.
I just tied again and no luck so I called:http://www.ticketweb.com/phone.html
Mama...are you going tomorrow? I'd love to meet you!
I'll be there!
Fantastic...I'll wear an alligator shirt, so you'll know who's a gator.
Really? (Like an izod, or am I missing a really obvious joke?)
No...I'm really going to wear an alligator shirt. Too bad KDM is on vacation.
I'll keep my eye out for you!
Sorry I missed you Mama. I enjoyed the event very much. It was great to hear Marin and Jason talk about how it's been for them stepping in to these characters. I was able to see how absolutely BEAUTIFUL Meghann Fahy is, and was very impressed with Brian Crum singing "I'm Alive." He, like Kyle is singing the high note at the end of the song.
Did they only sing songs from the show?
Fans who had voted online were able to pick a song that had been cut from the show. Choices were Feeling Electric, Electricity, and two others that I can't remember. The one that was selected was originally sung by Natalie at the beginning of act . I can't remember the name. Growing up.....something. I was most moved by questions from the audience. One woman who relayed her experience seeing the show, and how it was so difficult that she considered leaving after the first act.
^ the song is Growing Up Unstable. Which is one of my favorite songs.
any audio or video from this?
I looked for you Gator! Didn't see your shirt!
I enjoyed being able hear the actors sing the roles....gave me some thoughts of how they may play the roles.
My thoughts: Marin seemed lovely and intriguing for the role. I loved the warmth she exuded through the evening.
Jason -- I am on the fence, I found it awkward WATCHING him sing -- literally watching his mouth form the sounds was just a little odd. (And as I watched him sing and talk, all I could think of was: put him in a puffy shirt and I'd buy him as a swashbuckler!)
Brian Crumm -- did not LOOK the part of Gabe, at all IMHO, but I was impressed with his singing.
Meghann -- beautiful, poised yet genuine, sounded smooth.
I think Growing Up Unstable was one of my favorite cut songs from Off B'way so it was great fun to see it performed
I am looking forward to seeing this next week!

Not far off at all. My friend and I joke that he'd be more at home in a classic musical about George Washington, given his style of singing.

Right again! Gorgeous voice, but his acting is not so great as Gabe (though he's a wonderful Henry).

AdamGreer -- people will talk if you keep sweet talking me!
I definitely got the same vibe about his potential as a Henry. (and since Kyle is on vacation THIS week, I'm guessing I won't have a chance to find out about his Gabe.)
I wouldn't mind an understudy for Henry. As much as I adore Adam, I've ONLY ever seen him in the role.
Adamgreer, I actually disagree, I saw him in the show to see him specifically because I'm not a fan of Kyle Dean Massey. I thought he looks the part and I thought his acting was phenomenal far better than Kyle Dean Massey's and getting close to Aaron Tveit's but not quite. I've seen all three in the show. But everyone is entitled to their opinion lol, but that is how I feel, and I'm very nit picky.
