I keep wondering what's the big whoop about this guy, like maybe he's just incredibly captivating on stage with talent like Cheyenne Jackson, but apparently we love him because yes he's a great dancer, but of course he's gorgeous, tan, with a body to die for.

Is that it? Or is there some substance behind all that shallow bias?

Looks will only get you so far... (it doesn't hurt). But it's his talent that gets him jobs.. whether it involves singing, acting or dancing. from RC in Austin, Texas

No offense to this guy. But I just don't ever see him getting out of the ensemble. I don't see him becoming a leading man, like Cheyenne.

regardless he seems to get a big to-do on this board. i seemed to recall a lot of excitement when he was offered the role of charlie cover in brigadoon. but by my reckoning he only got that when it was turned down by another.

for the record he was solely the standby for mary in chicago, and a principal in acl. guys and dolls will be his fourth broadway show. and he was the only charley cover in brigadoon. just to be clear.

you sure about that? there's an interview on the web where someone (not nick) says they were offered the charlie cover back in june. if memory serves, there was no announcement that nick would be the cover charlie until the end of july, days before brigadoon was cancelled/postponed.

I don't get the whole Nick Adams thing either. Certainly not the best looking guy in NY theater by a long shot in my opinion!

he did the national tour before broadway. thats what those pictures must be from.
