I guess since no one has created this topic yet I will do it. In case, no one already knew, it was announced today that Nicole Parker, who played the role of Elphaba in 'Wicked' on Broadway from January to July 2009 will return to role in the 1st National tour this May. She will star alongside former Broadway co-star Alli Mauzey as Glinda, and they will be joined by P.J. Benjamin, who also played the Wizard alongside both of them.
I really enjoyed her on Mad TV. I was hoping that she would find another project after 'People in the Picture', but I am glad she is returning to the role. Plus, she and Mauzey have great chemistry. They were hilarious on their broadway.com 2009 Tony video.

Posted: 4/30/12 at 10:43pmI am glad. I didn't care for Mamie Parris one bit so the production should be better for it.
