That would be amazing! Charlotte was awful when I saw her this summer.
I would love to see Nikki as Cassie! She would be great!
I remember Jessica told me that Cassie could be 32ish so I think Nikki wouldn't look that off.
Cassie is supposed to be 30, but they changed that line in the revival because, well, Charlotte doesn't look 30.
She will really be missed in "legally Blonde." I especially love the little move she makes (like a tiny Jackie Gleason IYKWIM)with the line "Mister you're fired, look who I hired...") and the sexy stomach rolls and hand gestures at the beginning of "Whipped into Shape" and especially the delicious "Goooooooooood" she tells the ladies in the jail at the end of the number.
She has really made that role more than is on the written page.
"Slightly related... apparently Dena DiGiacinto is the new Bebe. Weird that they put her up on the website so early, but oh well."
Kind of O/T but Krysta leaves the show on Sunday.

IYKWIM?
If you know what I mean
There is a tour so it's possible that's what snelson's being considered for and she is (and looks) completely age appropriate. As for D'Amboise, she was one of the better
Roxie's I've seen and while she's not the greatest singer, she mostly sticks to roles where the dancing is far more important so I think she's been more than just servicable.
I would love to see Nikki as Cassie - I'm sure she could handle the heavy dancing with all the crazy moves she has in LB.
I just saw ACL last week with Jessica Lea Patty as Cassie and I thought she and CD were about equal.
Dena DiGiacinto was adorable as Bebe too.
Nikki is a great dancer, but not the best singer, in my opinion. Still, better choice than Charlotte.
Totally have to disagree about 'not the best singer'- Nikki's version of "Come to Your Senses" from TTB is one of my most favorite songs *ever,* I love her voice.
I thought CD was amazing when I saw ACL, but I think she's just getting sick of she show. Needless to say, I think Nikki could give the part the justice that it needs.
It's offtopic, but when I saw Dena as Bebe, I thought that she was horrible... She lacked alot of personality.
Rachelle Rak would be amazing. My dream is Elizabeth Parkinson as Cassie.
Nikki is, as many have said, an incredible talent. She will shine wherever she goes.
Elizabeth Parkinson is an amazing dancer but she definitly can't sing the part.

Funny, I think she is a fabolous singer and dancer, but a crappy actress.
perfect for the part of Cassie then...

Well, perfect to play a repeat of Charlotte's Cassie, the only difference is that Nikki Snelson might actually WANT to be there.
Kind of O/T but Krysta leaves the show on Sunday.
Haha that's what I meant about it being weird they had Dena listed as Bebe already.

I saw Nikki Snelson in TTB and i thought she was horrendous in the role. At least compared to Amy Spanger who I had seen previously.
but this was at least five yrs ago so it has no bearing on her abilities today

That's interesting, considering "Come to Your Senses" is supposed to be performed badly.
I would love Nikki as Cassie!

Yeah, her version of 'Come to Your Senses' is definitely not a favorite of mine. However, her vocals in Annie Get Your Gun and on the cast recording were lovely. I would cite the latter rather than the former in favor of your argument, Anakela.
That being said, I never saw Charlotte in the role, but an understudy and I was as disenchanted with that understudy as most seem to have been with Charlotte. I'd live to see Nikki do some actual dancing, and if ACL is the place, I'd love to give the show a second chance.
Two questions:
TTB?
Why is Krysta leaving? I most likely will be seeing the show this weekend.
God knows she has the endurance for it.
