Dottie: TTB is "tick, tick...BOOM!" and Krysta is leaving because she was cast in "In the Heights."

The choosing was not...

Yes, Nikki does have a great voice. I'm always sad that she just has "Whipped Into Shape" to show it off. I've heard other stuff she has sang (not just TTB) and her voice is excellent.
And endurance is a big part of ACL...it's a very difficult show and I think Nikki has been well prepared for it through Blonde.
I mean, people can speculate about how well she will do, but I think most agree she is a step up from Charlotte and so, I will keep my fingers crossed for her that we all get a chance to see her and form our opinions.
It's kind of sad though...if she gets Cassie, bigger and better role...but LB won't be the same without her energy both on stage and at the stage door.

I thought they were heading in a direction of finding someone who is a true vocal talent. But if not, her dancing is adequate although, she can't touch Charlotte. Her acting could possibly work. Vocally, I couldn't say I would rush back to hear her sing.
I'm guessing it's for the tour, considering she told us at the stage door on Thursday that she would be touring with ACL. She didn't specify which character, but she did say she was doing the tour.
You must have seen JLP when she was sick. I heard she was very sick recently and almost didn't make it back on stage mid-performance. But being the trooper she is, she finished the show. No one does it as well as she does.
I got so excited when I saw this thread, but I'll be pretty pissed if she's only in the tour, because that means I won't get to see her as Cassie! Tours don't come to Long Island lol.
She should be fierce as Cassie! She definitely has the endurance from LB, and she's fantastic as Brooke.
Threadjacking a bit, but I never got the idea that Come to Your Senses was supposed to be performed badly. (I suppose if I'd only seen Molly Ringwald in the role I might think differently...)
Is d'Amboise staying with the Broadway company for much longer?
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
^^ I think I read on here that the rest of the original cast signed another 6 month extension.

Hopefully the tour will make a stop in Buffalo, or more than likely Toronto.
