The last production I saw last year in London last year starred two actors in their 70's (who were great) but did seem too old for it, which is just where my head was at thinking about ages for a new revival.

I’m not sure if he’s done any stage work, but might be nice to see Aaron Taylor-Johnson undertake this.

There was a rumor couple of months back that Jonathan Bailey was going to be on Broadway in unnamed show. Could this be it

I saw this one too - and I thought not only did they seem too old for it, but the new partners were too young for them - the final scene that culminates in them sneaking out again felt more like parents and children than anything else.
I preferred the Donmar Warehouse production in spring 2023 with Rachel Stirling and Stephen Mangan, which had a lot of chemistry but also dialled up some of the physicality/violence of the original.
