The general consensus for Best Musical nominations, which I think is the most likely, are for Spamalot, DRS, Spelling Bee and Piazza. However, I'm not as convinced as most that Piazza has a lock. Piazza has gotten lukewarm reception in it's other engagements and Guettel is an acquired taste. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the more crowd-pleasing All Shook Up (which I'm hearing surprisingly good word-of-mouth on) grabs the fourth spot instead.

"Foster is a long shot.
Victoria Clark has a firm grasp on Best Actress."
And how many times have you seen Piazza, Priest? That's what I thought. We don't even know if Clark is THAT good yet. Wait a few days when the show begins previews, shall we?
As almost everyone else is, I am basing that on the buzz surrounding her and her performance. (Everyone knows that the Tonys are mainly all about buzz anyway. Hell, people predicted Jackman's win before BFO even began rehearsals)
And as much as I love Foster, I really doubt that she will win. It's a funny, sincere performance. But not a Tony winning one.
I also haven't seen "Light" yet, but I would agree with Priest that Ms. Clark is the one to beat.
A couple messages before say The Wiz. How can u think that will win yet. The Wiz cast hasnt been released yet so that can't make it even a contendor yet.
