So, if Norbert was playing a little hooky, he was just ratted out on a very popular and widely-read board. How nice for him. I guess he never thought buying ice cream was a major event.

And is ice cream REALLY that bad for your vocal chords. I mean...I know dairy causes phlegm, but if you're on vocal rest because your chords are tired (or worse), I can't imagine ice cream doing THAT much damage.

It's also possible that he stays away from things like ice cream when he's working, and this was an opportunity for him to treat himself.

He was on doctor's orders.. vocal rest. I can't imagine a role as vocally or physically demanding as his in recent memory. Heck, Nathan Lane was out a month after "The Producers" opened for the same reasons...a month! Norbs has been doing this since January 31st and has only missed a total of 3 performances.
