Can anyone please explain to me why this man has not been given a recording contract, or something. His voice is magical and I long for him to have a solo cd. So many other Broadway stars have solo cds...this makes no sense to me!! He deserves it! Oh and yeah...if by chance he has a solo cd that I do not know about....THANKS so much for correcting me and giving me all of the information I need to obtain it. "when the battle commences..." I love that.

For now, I am contented with my pure Norm Lewis playlist on Itunes, which has over 50 songs.
My favorite songs (legally) recorded by Norm Lewis: With So Little to Be Sure Of/ Who Could Be Blue You Should Be Loved Let the Sunshine In Anytime Learning to Let Go Make Them Hear You The Painter's Song
fyffe, I totally agree with you! Norm has a magnificent voice. This man is amazing, I met him at stage door and he is so nice and appreciative of what you have to say about his performance. He told me he has always wanted to do Les Mis and now he has and he is just loving it. What a nice guy!
Does anyone know if he has ever won a Tony? If not, shame on the voters. He should defintely have one.
LM is keeping him pretty busy, but he's promising a new website and CD. I know he has a special spot for " We Live On Borrowed Time". He does a killer "Bu Doi" from Miss Saigon and he does an equally impressive "In Lilly's Eyes" with Craig Schulman.
Awesome! I love his voice too and he is such a nice guy. He talked to me for like 5 minutes after Les Mis, about Side Show and some of his other projects and he was so kind. I can't wait for his album. *praying it happens*
It was 6 hours, I don't even like to have sex and eat bacon for 6 hours. Freddy Benson- Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
I think he is amazing in LM but he also blew me away in the Actors' Fund version of Chess.

"Things happen for the best...I don't even believe that myself."
Norm is the MAN!!! I, too, met at the Les Miz stage door. I told him that I will playing Javert in a high school performance in February and he said "That's awesome. O man, we are still on then or I would have come. Once your show is done please send pictures to me at the theater." This just shows you how nice he is. Yeah im performing in Toledo, Ohio. That's 9 1/2 haours away from NYC and he still wanted to come. He so amazing!
... O yeah... he has an amazing voice too!! lol

You're reminding me of people you hear at the movies asking questions every ten seconds, "Who is that? Why is that guy walking down the street? Who's that lady coming up to him? Uh-oh, why did that car go by? Why is it so dark in this theater?" - FindingNamo on strummergirl
"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor
"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl
"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott
I'm reading this thread, not looking that the posts are 2 years old, lamenting that Lewis doesn't have a solo disc...and, boom...end of thread satisfaction! Thanks for posting. Quite excited.
Oh my God.... you just made my day! Love Norm Lewis. He has the most amazing voice and he really is such a nice guy. I have been waiting forever for this to come out checking his website constantly and I am so glad it finally happened.
Just an fyi, I'm not sure when this will be happening but he plans on selling it at Colony and at the Little Mermaid theatre as well. He's also having a release concert at Joe's Pub on December 1.
