I was watching "Entertainment Tonight" and one of their reporters was supposedly reporting with New York hustling and bustling in the background. The only issue? There was a "Priscilla" billboard in the background.
Ever caught any other shows not using actual up to date footage of NYC?

Posted: 11/12/13 at 9:30pmThere is an episode of Seinfeld where one of the characters goes to a Broadway show, and in the establishing shot of the theater, they show the Majestic Theater marquee displaying "Rochelle, Rochelle" (or whatever the musical was) as the current show. However, The Phantom of the Opera played at the Majestic for the duration of Seinfeld's 1989-1998 run.

Ummmmmm (wow I can be obnoxious too) the question the OP asked was "Ever caught any other shows not using actual up to date footage of NYC?"
I *thought* it went without saying that the Rochelle musical was a joke, but I appreciate the poster above me making that fact very clear. It was a show using "not actual footage" from NYC so it was appropriate to the thread.
