Jeff Bowen is beginning to look alarmingly like David Hyde Pierce.

RippedMan, this thread was started for reviews of the lab/workshop version of NHT. In that version, the "mystery box" was the running theme. They dropped it for the new version, I suppose, but from what I'm hearing, the show is still changing quite a bit from night to night. If you were to see the show tonight, it would likely be quite different than the one you saw a few weeks ago.
themysteriousgrowl, really? I'm not seeing the NPH resemblance.

Posted: 3/22/12 at 11:34amSaw the show on Monday night and Michael Berresse (the director) announced that quite a bit of new material was going into the show that night. I think they have the makings of a great show here. It still needs to be refined and focused a bit more though. Whereas I thought the focus of 'title of show' tilted towards the men, I think this one tilts focus more to the women. Very interesting thoughts and a few deep emotional moments make it an enjoyable experience while they continue to work on the material.

I think what the show needs most is a throughline, or a plot.
There is no driving force or momentum.

David Hyde Pierce, not Neil Patrick Harris.
David Hyde Pierce in his "Frasier" days.

I saw it last night and hear they had put in MAJOR changes.
I REALLY enjoyed it. (I don't see the DHP resemblance either)
