I love them both but I'm not thrilled about all these replacements. It's one thing to see an understudy in a long-running show (stuff happens) but this kind of thing is why I have so much anxiety buying tickets in advance.

I've never seen Steven in anything except a gala, but after seeing that video of Steven and Laura Osnes rehearsing the bench scene from the 2015 Lyric Opera Carousel I'm sorry that he had to pull out also.

He got the voice and he got the presence.

I've often thought it silly for actors, mainly film stars, to adapt stage names unless their real names were ridiculous (Frances Gumm), but Stephanie J ?????????????????????Block? Adding a middle initial to an already stodgy name? ??
