i noticed that the OPENING NIGHT AFTER PARTY for CATCH ME IF YOU CAN was at CIPRIANI 42nd....
i have attended about 5 after parties and they were ALL at ROSELAND... before i read that CATCH ME IF YOU CAN's was at CIPRIANI... i just assumed they were ALL automatically held at ROSELAND... i am actually pleased to see that they are not...
are MOST held at ROSELAND ?
WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO KNOW?!!!!!

Opening night parties can be held at any number of places. How to Succeed was at the Plaza.

It's not like the same folks are the party planners for b'way shows. It's up to the producers to arrange all that stuff: different producers will go different places.
I think someone else recently had their opening night party at Blue Fin...hmmm...nope; can't remember who.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Posted: 4/11/11 at 9:12pmOpening night parties are by invitation only, James 2. I have been to dozens of opening night parties and only one of them was at Roseland. Anything Goes opening night party was on the Intrepid.

Posted: 4/11/11 at 10:57pmI know of several people who just walked into the Anything Goes opening party last week. They were told at security to have their party passes out, but no one ever actually checked for them.

Posted: 4/11/11 at 11:07pmEarnest's opening night was at BB King's. I was invited, and had a pass (my friend works there), but we really didn't need them- we just walked right in.
