Sorry for using this thread, but unsure where else to put this.
Apparently Michael Aronov's final performance was on Sunday, even though there are two weeks left in the show's run. Was there ever a press release or announcement about this?

The show was originally supposed to end on June 18, then got extended to July 2, then to July 16 after the Tonys. So the timing of leaving at the end of an extension period would make sense. One of the understudies has taken over the role.
That being said, for Aronov, the Tony winner, to leave without any announcement is kind of strange (assuming that this was a planned end and he wasn't injured or anything). I was thinking about going later, but I'm glad I had the chance to see him this past weekend. He has charisma to burn, and he was well-deserving of the Tony. I kind of wish Anthony Azizi had been nominated, too, though. He was also wonderful.

Did they cut an intermission? I just went last night and it was only one. As for run time...yeah it was long even with one. Three hours for any theatre piece of any kind is overly long. And if it's insisted to keep it that long for whatever reason, it better be made sure it's grabbing in some way. I actually did enjoy myself, but just the logistics of it being long and sitting in the dark for that long can put anyone is a sleep state of mind. However, I've never know known a show where the second act was longer than the first. That was odd for sure.

It had two intermissions off-Broadway, and that was reduced to one for the Beaumont. I believe the cited reason was to keep momentum going.

Oslo closed today. Just wanted to jot a quick post congratulating the show on a really terrific, triumphant run at the Beaumont.

Is that film still happening? I assume that's the reason why it wasn't filmed for PBS.
