Dave Malloy started a Kickstarter to raise the $30K they need to record the cast recording...

I thought this was doing relatively well at the Signature. I know the show itself probably isn’t commercial enough for Broadway, but I’m surprised a producer wouldn’t step in to fund this to get a cut of Malloy’s licensing fees.

It extended twice and has been consistently sold out. I imagine they could extend again but they said the extension to June 30 was the last one

After 3 hours, they are 1/3 of the way there! Moreover, this is during the school/work day so all of the young Malloy stans haven’t even seen this yet! Is it likely that it will continue at this rate?

Yep, looks like it may happen tomorrow if things keep up. I’ve been listening to a so so audio boot of this, so I’ll be very happy to get a proper cast recording

Glad to know they reached the 30k in the US. So I am assuming both feet are hole free. :)
