Hello! it's pretty hard to keep up with off-Broadway shows living on the West Coast, so I was just wondering if anyone has any off-Broadway recommendations? While most of my typical 'Broadway time slots' are full, I was hoping to check out some Off-Broadway shows too... I don't have particular likes or dislikes, but try to see different kinds of shows to learn more about theatre. I was thinking of perhaps "Murder for Two" and "La Soiree" but am really completely open to suggestions.
Also, if you know of any shows not during the typical 2 pm matinee or 8 pm evening shows, I'd appreciate any info! Thanks so much!

Posted: 3/9/14 at 11:19pmI thought The Tribute Artist was great and if you have never seen Charles Busch in one of his plays, I would say this would be a great chance to do that.

If LA SOIREE is on your radar already then I would go with that. They also have an irregular schedule although I'm not sure you would be able to see an 8pm show on Broadway and then make it to the 10pm show. Plus it's general admission so you'd need to get there when doors open about 30 mins before curtain.
Also it would be helpful to know when you're coming into town since Off-Broadway shows tend to have shorter runs.
