I just thought some people might want to see that article since it mentioned us. and I never posted in the thread about him after the Emmy's, that was before I joined.
yayy! Conan is such a good singer, in all musical styles. Theartical, rock/pop, and opera. Really, he is underestimated and I think that if he decided to not go into comedy he easily could have made it in the musical theatre business.
conanlover, you have his Emmy tie!?!?!?! **falls out of chair, gasping for breath**
that is soo exciting! Did he send a little note along with it or something? Was it from the charity that they do at most award shows, Clothes Off Our Backs?
Uh Cadiche, you DO know that the Phantom is a very challenging role to sing. Conan O'Brien is not that great a singer. "Trouble" is not as hard as "The Music of the Night".
Just because he did well on the Emmys does not mean Conan O'Brien can play every role on Broadway.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
Do conanlover and Cadiche seem like sock puppets to anyone else?

Cadiche keep on going, if you are anything like Lizza9 and the other Conan lovers..the more you talk the more of an idiot you make yourself look like. Sort of like Rosie O'Donnell.
You are so right - Rosie O'Donnell is wonderful in every way :) And your snipey little comments have just proven my point of how belittled you feel. I forgive you KQuill.
please chill out you non-Conan lovers, again, for the 500th time, there is absolutely no point of you clicking on this thread or posting. just leave us alone and go comment about things that you actually care about.
did anyone see the show last night- he made a Tony joke!
"The Broadway Tony nominees came out yesterday. As for the people that actually care about the Tony nominees, they came out a long time ago."
those of you that are like "just because he did good at the Emmys doesn't mean he can do Broadway". well, the Emmys isn't the only reason that we think he'd be great. it's just one part of the picture. if you watch his show every night, you'd see that he does a fair amount of singing, and he has an incredible range. he could definetely handle POTO, and we're not basing that just on the Emmys performance. so don't think that the Emmys is the only reason why we think he'd be amazing on Broadway. thanks = )
some may find it offensive but I thought it was great. the video on NBC.com will be up soon. he was on the red carpet making fun of Broadway, one example is when Triumph was talking to the representative of Donna Murphy and goes, "so, is someone else taking her shift at the Olive Garden??" LOL!! and he basically talked about how Broadway people are nobodys and that no one knows who they are. he also chatted with the cast of Spring Awakening.
