I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

This is a Broadway related board. He is not Broadway-related go to some Conan board and leave this board alone. You say Conan lovers only but you can obviously not get it through your head that this is a Broadway board not, a Conan Board.

yea, Lizzy, personally, I'm a conan freak. I love the man till death and think he's the greatest thing since carson ( and sliced bread^^ ).
but this is a broadway board. and although I think he would make a wonderful stage comedian, he has yet to do so, and until there are talks, yea...
also, it's wonderful you are trying to keep the positive waves flowing, i would love to see more of them, but this is bww.com. you can't demand only positive things to say about a person, it just doesn't work, it's a free board, and I've learned that the hard way ^_^. there have been a number of other posts relating conan to various roles he may be able to fill and many of the suggestions i have seen in this thread are repeated....
p.s. go conan :woot woot:

Which I think is pretty stupid in itself, considering that Conan doesn't really have a distinct type one way or the other. Plus the fact that the creator of this thread could see Sr. O'Brien playing every role in musical theater history except for Young Cosette.

All right, get a grip. There is nothing remotely Broadway related to the Cone-man. This is an off-topic thread at best. If "The Official Raul Esparza Spread the Love" thread is in off-topic discussion, how can the starter of this thread or anyone else justify this being on the main board? That said, there's no way I can picture Conan in anything other than an interviewer's seat and he handles the task admirable. But I'm not remotely impressed with his singing or dancing. Not that I disrespect him. I certainly don't. If it comes across as disrespect, I apologize it's not meant too. But Broadway! Sorry, he's not Broadway and this thread doesn't belong here. Raul--now he belongs here!

OMG!!!! I just had the BEST IDEA EVER!!!!!!!!! In a while he could replce David Hyde Pearce in Curtains!! OMG! they look alike, and Conan is from Boston!
This is super exciting. and he could play elle's professor (i forget the name) in Legally Blonde!! and I was also thinking he could be any of the main guys in Jersey Boys. wearing a wig, obviously ; )
so I pretty much rock the world now. any other totally fabulous ideas for Conan on Broadway??? = )

Conan in Jersey Boys? You have got to be joking.
Newsflash: Just because Conan O'Brien sang on the Emmy (and performed quite well, I'll admit that) does not mean he could play ever male role on Broadway. Any role in Jersey Boys is very vocally taxing. Singing a "Trouble" parody on the Emmys does not qualify you to play a role in Jersey Boys (or half the roles you have suggested). "Toruble" is easy to sing. "Sherry" is not.
Honestly, just because you like him does not mean is able to play all these roles. I like Patti LuPone, but I don't think she could Elphaba.

He did a little song and dance number at the Emmys quite good but, he couldn't to Broadway because I doubt he could do 8 shows a week. He couldn't do any of the roles you have said either because they require a lot of training. Basically ditto to what WonderfulWizard said.
