I was wondering about that, too. True, Rodney was in the original cast, but has the album been recorded yet? I don't know the answer to that! I would assume it already has if it's going to be released this fall.

I've heard Drew plans on staying with Brel until mid-October. He's going to be doing Les Miz rehearsals starting in Sept while doing Brel at night.

Taboo - I'm almost positive that Drew will be staying through October, but I see the show NEXT Thursday, so I'll ask him to be sure.

Drew will be in Brel until October 6th. He'll be pulling double duty till then with rehearsals for Les Miz and Brel shows.

Yes, there is a lot of drew spit.

And there are no bad seats in the house--I should know lol.

I'm actually not going (this) thursday 8/17 because I have a pick-up rehearal. Usually I'd be there though. (I love Thursdays). I'll be there on Tuesday 8/15 and Sunday 8/20 right before Natascia goes on vaycay.

You don't have to be shy--it often happens that Drew and the others have friends at the show and want to run to the bar right after, but he'll at least give ya' a wave if not more...Bob likes to run away after the show...Gay...watch out for Gay on her bike or her scooter...she'll run you over. And Natascia's a sweetheart but often sneaks away...just keep you eyes open.

There IS a stage door but it's rarely used as such after the show...most of them come out the front door...last night was the first time Drew came out the stage door that I've seen so that was strange...I think it just depends on how quickly he wants his cigarette :)

Tonight is the musical director (Eric)'s last performance. John's official first day is Saturday and he's still getting used to the role of conductor/pianist/accordionist/singer/performer...

I finally met Drew last week. He was so precious, and I will always have some major respect for how kind he was.

I have to admit though, my heart dropped when I saw him smoking. Uch.

By the way, he is FABULOUS in Les Mis. He did an excellent job with his character development.

Oh lord, I can't wait to see Les Miz! I get more and more obsessed with it as the days go by...January is too far!
I'm glad you loved the fantasticness that is Drew also! And yes, he is such a nice guy!

I saw him in Lestat and Brel, but had always been too chicken to meet him. But he is so kind. And cuuuuuuuuute. But yeah, that's obvious. Okay.... I will now act my age again...

Passed the theatre on the way home tonight, Drew is going on tonight as Enjolras! Hopefully someone will have gone and can post a review.
