Elle > I saw Curtains back in May and I loved it! It was so funny and the cast was great.Thats so awesome that you are working there. Do you get to watch the show everytime your working at that theatre?
Ugh, that's really awful Kristina. My grandmother went through something like that too. It's awful, but the only thing you can do is spend as much time as you can with her and let her know that you love her.
Kristina>So sorry to hear about your Aunt. My family went through the same thing with my grandma, but I was 6 so i really didn't know how to deal with it at the time. But i always went to visit her alot. Since ya kinda cant do that right now, with school and all, phone calls are always good. If ya ever need to talk ya know where to find me=o)
On a lighter note.....love the pics!

Erin, glad you enjoyed the show. Xanadu is next on my list. Can't wait to see pictures. I saw Spring Awakening for the second time last Monday(8/6). I love that show, anyone who hasn't seen it yet,see it.
This Monday I'm going to Journey To Jersey Boys @ Ars Nova. So Tuesday i'll report back with a review of the night.
So Journey To Jersey Boys was amazing last night! It was really nice to see the girls and Travis sing different songs. In Jersey Boys you really don't hear them sing alot, but this was their chance to belt out the songs they chose to sing. One part where I almost cried was when Erica sang a song from Show Boat called "Bill".Show Boat is my favorite movie, and the way she sang it made me teary.Travis reminds me so much of Micheal Buble,he sounds just like him.I saw John,Micheal Longoria,Bob Gaudio and his wife after the show.It really was amazing.Jennifer,Sara,Erica,Heather and Travis did a fantastic job.
Hi everyone, I just registered so I can post on this thread!
My name's Jen Jen, and I'm from Singapore ( in Southeast Asia ). I recently visited the USA for the very first time, and Jersey Boys is the very first musical I watched on Broadway.
Like many others, I was blown away by the show, and am now a JLY fan. I didn't get to meet him 'cos I didn't stay back after the performance ( which I regret deeply! ), so I really enjoy reading about all your wonderful experiences and admiring the gorgeous photos.
I have, however, posted a review of JB on my blog, at www.spacefan.blogspot.com. It's the first thing I wrote after returning home ( in a jetlagged state ), but I was extremely high on adrenaline and wanted to share it with my readers.
There were a couple of unexpected observations at the show I attended, and I'm just curious about whether any of you have noticed the same thing at other performances. I'm pretty sure it's happened before, but am just amazed that after so many shows, the guys still enjoy themselves so much, and don't take audiences for granted.
It's great news indeed that JLY's solo concert is sold out in record time! He sounds like a very sweet, down-to-earth guy and I wish him the best, both professionally and personally.
Will be dropping by regularly from now on, so keep the updates and pictures flowing! :)
[ I'm just re-posting this because my PC hanged for a short while when I posted the first time. If it's a duplicate, please feel free to delete one. Thanks! ]

I am going to miss John very very very much, but I was glad to hear that Micheal Longoria will be replacing him.I've seen Micheal three times as Frankie and he was awesome.
I was in the city yesterday.I waited for student rush tickets for Spring Awakening. We knew that the strike might happen but still went in early in the morning hoping that it wasn't going to start yesterday. But it did and we were disappointed, but we still got to meet memebers of the SA cast.
Wow. I haven't been on here in a LONG time. Anyways, I really hope everyone is doing well.

Erin > I know you said you saw Xanadu awhile ago and hearing you got onstage tickets is awesome!
I saw Xanadu for the first time on Dec. 27th and it was the funniest show I have ever seen. When Jackie Hoffman and Mary Testa interact with the audience onstage it was hilarious.Looking forward to seeing it again.
I'm so upset Daniel is leaving and that I won't be able to see him as Bob again. I'm going miss him alot.
WOW!! I had no idea it had been this long since I'd been on this thread
I saw the show last week and Micheal was very good. NO, he's no JLY but he was awesome in his own way. He definatley has made the role his own. Everyone was there except J. Robert, but John Leon was really good. Im glad I got to see Daniel(and just in time) because last time I saw the show he was out. Im really gonna miss him in that role. He was fabulous like always and ofcourse Christian was as great as ever!
