Here's hoping that if you went to Bway Barks you will post photos, comments who was there, etc...here. Thanks, since some of us were not as lucky to be there. BTW, Broadway Barks is on Facebook, and there are some pictures there of the event, for those interested :)
BWW and/or Broadway.com always posted photos in the past and I'm really disappointed not to find any now. The only photos I could find on facebook were of Bernadette Peters' book signing. I wanted to see all the performers and the dogs!
#1Elphie, thanks! That puppie is too cute! I would have adopted him Was it overcast in NYC today? It's a shame most of the shots came out so dark... Jordangirl...I think the link you posted is not working (?) At least not for me. I remember your pictures from last year, and they were so great! Hope you can come back and post a new link. Right, on their Facebook page I only saw the BP signing ones.
THanks for posting these - but you have to have a webshots account if you want to see anything besides thumbnails for yours elphie. It's too bad because they look like they might be good. (I used to have webshots but I didn't want to put them on my new computer because they add so much extra junk onto your pc.)
Really? I didn't realize that. Hm, weird. I just logged out there and I can still see them. I can try to upload them somewhere else tomorrow, sorry about that!
To see jordangirl's, it works if you copy the link and then paste it into your web browser. Jordangirl, you were really close!
And yes, it did seem pretty overcast, so my photos didn't come out great.

I was able to see all of #1Elphies', just not the Jordangirl ones. And about Angela Lansbury...it was just one of those bad lens captures, that's all. I think she is amazing and looks also amazing (I hate that phrase "for her age", but she does keep in excellent shape!). So, if she has racoon eyes, perhaps is to keep with the animal theme Updated On: 7/11/09 at 10:58 PM
Ok, Voulez-Vous...you win! They do look like racoon eyes Again, maybe keeping up the animal theme or like Elphie said
JG! Those are great, again! Thanks That puppy for the ASPCA poster is really a good model (and cute)...and there's that puppy again in #26! He looks like he is still pretty much a baby. You really got right up there! Thanks for taking the time to fix the link :)

Michael Cerveris' dog looks so much like my dog, who we had to put to sleep last year.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

I loved Banana. She looks just like a dog we adopted out at my shelter. Bagel was cute too.

Possibly. I have photos on my camera, but I won't get to doing anything with them tomorrow.
Edit-I don't think he was now. I looked though the photos, and I took so many, that some dogs are drawing a blank now, and it doesn't seem familiar.

How cute! Thanks to everyone who posted pictures! I want the grey and white puppy too! But they're all adorable! I really need to get to Broadway Barks one year!
About Angela Lansbury, I also think it must have been for Blithe Spirit or something.
Sorry, I didn't somehow see it when I went through the pictures. It seemed to me there were no tags whe I saw them. Does your camera have an image stabilizer? I'm not sure what camera you have, but it really helps to have one that does. You have some nice shots for not being a paparazzi
Oh, I facebook tagged some of them ~ but didn't put a description on all of them. Sorry!
In all but that one, the blurriness was dur to people moving, not the camera, because I don't use the flash if I can help it or I'd never get pictures of an entire event. That one was just zoomed in really closely, and people were shifting around and bumping me.

LIVE THAT LESSON!!!!!!
About Angela Lansbury, I also think it must have been for Blithe Spirit or something. --------------------------------------
I'm sure it must've been that she just hadn't taken off her stage makeup, if you see pics of her in the Blithe Spirit costume, that's basically her eye makeup. The theatre where the show is playing is literally right on Shubert Alley so she probably just changed out of her costume quick and came right out!
It was awesome to see her there, and David Hyde Pierce, and Carol Kane who I've always liked for years and years. And the juicy-looking Rupert Evert. Gor-geous!
I just wish I was able to adopt one of the older dogs, they break my heart the most. Or one of the pitbulls--they have such a bad reputation because of what some evil people do with their breed, but they are so loving. I have two cats, both of whom are rescues, but if I ever have more time to spend at home, I would love to adopt a dog again.
I would have loved to adopt as well, but I already have 5 cats at home, plus my foster cat. So, at least by being involved in an organization is doing something. And yes, the older animals are always harder to adopt out. We have a 13-year-old cat at my shelter. He finally got adopted, but a few months in, his owner died, and the family didn't want to take responsibility for him. At least they returned him though, which is always good, instead of letting him loose on his own again.
