That is if she renews her contract. Think about it, it will come to Philly nearly exactly a year after it premiered. I hope she does renew, and if not, it's a road trip to D.C!
My friend emailed Steph, and she said she will be leaving the tour in January and will not be renewing her contract. This was before the announcement of her absence in SF, so maybe she will change her mind after having some rest...

I love Les Miserables.
My new pic is me(on the left)at my last dance recital:(
I only wish she was finishing up the LA run. Stephanie really sounded off when I saw her. She couldn't control her voice in Defying Gravity...it is probably because of her injury. Ahh well. Here is hoping Jenna is on next time I see the show.
OMGsh! I feel so stupid that I didn't know she was hurt! Oh! I hope she gets better!!!!!!! Thanx for telling me.
you say i'm weird! look at everyone you're sitting with! and hey, those guys over there just threw napkins up in the air like they were on something! it's contajous! you can't help it!
For any of you who may be disappointed that Steph Block is not going to be in SF - let me tell you this...
I saw the original pre-Broadway tryout in SF and thought the show was good but a little saggy in parts. I saw it again several months later in NYC and Eden Espinosa was on for Idina.
I thought Eden was actually much better in the role. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED Idina in Rent and think she is very talented. But, she was VERY INTENSE and very clench jawed in Wicked. Espinosa seemed a better fit to the role and the material. I do not know anything about Ms Block - but Eden will be a real treat for those of us in SF.
