Allow me to contribute re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

I'm currently watching tonights 2nd Corrie which i recorded...(ooo its getting exciting!) I've been repetituer-ing tonight so havnt had a takeaway (i'll be having weetabix later!)

Had a pretty good week actually, had a few one to one singing rehearsals with Young Viv and Viv for 'Spend'..did who's gonna love me..had me in tears at the piano!! i also got my band scores disturbuted to the musicians (courtesy of the royal mail which seems to have gone awol but thats another story!). Tomorrow i'm taking my Young Viv to Castleford for the official press release for Spend Spend Spend where (as theres only 3 of us) Viv nicholson has invited us to her house to have some snaps with her and a lil chat! I then plan to stop in a random sport of road when i spot the 'Garforth' welcome stone to get a snap...oh the things we do for publicity!!!
Well thats my weekend - hope everyone has a good one! x

re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

By the lack of posting over the past few hours, it seems the regulars have either gone to bed early (how unlike them) or (the most probable answer) are out somewhere seeing the latest and greatest thing to hit the stages of the UK.

I am however very bored and am therefore going to answer your questions:
Where's the Friday night West End Thead? Right here
What wine is everyone drinking? I prefer the ever popular smirnoff and cranberry (not quite but wine, but what the heck)
CD playing? Sutton Foster's new Wish - tis tres amazing!!!
Take away? Curry - what else would one have on a cold English evening??
My week - kinda boring. I'm kinda over my GAP placement, and the person in charge of rostering refuses to put me with either music or drama, so i'm stuck in the nursery, with kids the size of my hand.
This weekend - emailing home, taking happy snaps of the snow, organising my trip to the Netherlands for half term (where I'll be seeing Les Mis and Tarzan in Dutch)

How bout your good self?

re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

Oh jealous!! I have never had a real interest in it till this week actually. I was watching the cast's performance on Royal Variety 2008 and decided to put on the cast album.

That was Tuesday, and I'm still humming Big Girls Don't Cry on Friday night.

I'm hoping to catch it the weekend after half-term. Do tell - does it live up to the hype?

re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

I just interviewed Stephen Flaherty.

Tomorrow I am having breakfast with a friend and going to watch Monk on TV.

That is all I have planned :)

re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

I had a white wine tonight, bloosom hill of course! vodka and cranberry is the next best thing though Mr Oz. I'm working my way through Sex and the city series 1 -6 :) im a happy gay man! I had nandos tonight, my sister went to get it, cause we couldnt be bothered to go out and sit in a restaurant :P

My week has been such a mess..like a big fat mess. No school mon/tues then went back on wednesday and had to leave again at 1, cause someone fell over! then dancing wednesday night was ****, cause i got all frustrated with my intermodern stuff and just had a big "im so **** why am i even doing this" moment :) thursday = forgetable, and today i had 4free periods in which i finished my Twelfth Night review for Theatre Studies, then i went to double theatre, and did some staging of The Crucible Act 3!

This weekend, we're going to see the new puppy tomorrow, and then having a party for my dad, its his birthday! sunday im doing some work and cooking for everyone in the evening!

Then Tuesday im going to see Little Shop at Bromley!! :)

re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

I was on to it then got really busy- SORRY!

re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

Oh again jealous. Is that Little Shop the one from Menier last year? Please do report back whether its worth seeing on tour.

Ah, doesn't one just love a good Sex and the City marathon? Its amazing to see how the writers changed the show over the seasons. Like in the first season, characters had those annoying asides to the camera. Thank the lord the writers listened to criticism (if only the same could be said for the out of town tryout for many a Broadway show) and cut them.

Crucible ... kill me now!! I don't care how ingeniously Miller interweaves Macarthyism (sp??) into the Salem witch trials, I never want to see another school production of that show again. In 2005, three schools around mine (all three were girls school, and therefore using guys from my school) did Crucible, and all three were as tedious and longwinded as the others.

re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

There's 12 in our group, we've split into 2 groups of 6, us doing Act3 others doing Act4. I hated it at first, but then when you get to start throwing people about by their hair and calling them whores, it becomes a lot more fun! re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

Watching Flight of the Conchords, revelling in my solitude this evening by not wearing any trousers, and spending faaar too much time online. I might watch Titus now though. I fancy a spot o' gore. I'll be very upset if there's not enough gore. re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

a good night and a good morning....

I had one last unexpected clubbing fling, (I'm about to hit the stage where based on decades mathematicians would round my age up to 40 - another reason I dislike maths...) so as I left the club to the joys of Vauxhall at 8ish this morning I decided it was time to (dis)gracefully retire from my clubbing days.

I also had a dry January and once this weekend is over I will be make a rapid return to sobriety!

re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

I've never understood 'dry January'. But thats probably because its my birthday in January, so there for for the past 2 years, not drinking has so not been an option!

So from your description, I'm guessing your about to turn 35? You so shouldn't be retiring from clubbing! You're still young, get back out there!! :)

re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

Tsk tsk we can't take you people anywhere, can we?

I did have a very good night as my hero reached level 27 and I got to join a supergroup with a nifty base. Does anyone else on here (I'm looking at you, Weez) play City of Heroes?

And legallysam, not drinking on your birthday is very easy. You simply don't consume any alcohol.

re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

Sorry, I don't play MMORPGs. I don't have the patience to play nicely with others, and I lost a boyfriend to Final Fantasy XI. So I have nothing but bad words to say about 'em. XD

I do love normal RPGs though. I'm currently bashing my way through Final Fantasy VIII again (I'm about to go into space because my girlfriend's in a coma; and why NOT? ^_^), and my friend and I have just got back into Pokemon. Which is very convenient, because she has Diamond and chose the water starter, and I have Pearl and chose the fire starter. We spent a far-too-merry half hour trading yesterday lunchtime. XD

re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

I never thought I'd get into a Mamorpugher, but after some nudging I gave in and tried CoH. Very good for the casual non-gamer, as I can spend half an hour on and do a solo mission or beat up some street baddies and feel satisfied or blow an entire night in team play.

The funny thing is I can't stand most video games, especially standalone RPG's (particularly JRPG's where it's 80 hrs of cut scene to 3 hrs of gameplay) because I tend to get frustrated and lost very easily which makes me want to stop playing the game. But infinite world and slow power creep? Works for me.

Now to go and get my cape...

re: Ohmigod You Guys!!

i'll stick with Mario Kart Wii thanks re: Ohmigod You Guys!! haha

But you see exey, when you celebrate your birthday in a BIG way, with parties and going out, the odd drink helps get the party started :)
