BWW upcoming off Bway shows has Clear Day as being re-worked. Is it a misprint or has Daisy Gamble become David Gamble who was Melinda in a previous life.

At Vassar I know they had Alysha Umphress do Melinda b/c Anika Noni Rose had personal matters to attend.
And Betsy Wolfe will be doing the reading that Roundabout is holding... and it says on her website that she (as Melinda), Steven Pasquale (I would presume as David) and T.R. Knight are participating in this reading.
I don't know how often her website is updated but that is all I know of the whole casting sitch.

Word is the plan remains to cast Melinda with an African-American actress. That was still part of the breakdown when the Broadway production was announced.
That reading Betsy Wolfe did happened two years ago. The information on her website is incredibly outdated.
